CAI Rainforest Projects

Introduction.

The Carbon Association International Secretariat Ltd NZ (CAI) would like to present the following information on the rainforest and biodiversity which is under continual threat in our region. The CAI does not solicit forest assets from the region, nor is it a profit oriented organization. The CAA as a "Not for Profit" and only provides guidance and resources on application from Government or Ministries in the region. Having said this, it must be noted that the CAA works with the financial community, banks, brokers, environmental exchanges and registries to provide sustainable deliverables back to our communities of interest.

The Voluntary and Verified (VER) offset market is growing at a rapid rate, providing billions of dollars of return income to program managers, forest communities and enhancing their quality of life. Yet only 5% of the worldwide forests are under professional environmental management or protection. The CAI has listed several forest assets below in many countries which we work, providing protection, security and sustainability to forest communities.

The purpose of this site presentation is to provide the best level of transparency and documentation we can practically draw from. The presentation documents will grow as we receive further valued data, pictures and reports from independent sources, government forestry ministries, program managers and communities of interest.
